Fibres
Fibres are small reinforcing materials that provide added structural integrity and durability to concrete applications and aid against plastic shrinkage cracking (hairline surface cracks due to water evaporation during set).
Benefits of fibre-enforced concrete:
- Ease of placement and finishing – delivered in the concrete, no extra orders to place
- Accelerated concrete placement time – reduced project time
- Equivalent strength to steel – better control of plastic shrinkage, cracking and reduced segregation
- Cost effective replacement for welded wire mesh (WWM)
- No storage needed for fibres or other reinforcing materials
- Safety – no handling and tripping hazards (as with WWM)
- No surface or internal corrosion

Our Solutions
Concrete is often the material of choice for bridges and buildings, roads and sidewalks, ports and dams, offshore production platforms and homes. Ontario Redimix is proud to offer a large range of products and services across a wide geographic footprint.
Mobile Jobsite is a mobile application solution that provides real-time data allowing you to verify and track your concrete orders on your mobile device.
At Ontario Redimix, we are proud to offer you solutions that help run your businesses more efficiently. In 2022, we launched our new mobile truck-tracking application through Mobile Jobsite.
The Ontario Redimix Mobile Jobsite app works in a simple and effective manner allowing registered users to review and track their concrete deliveries using the mobile application on their smartphone or tablet.
The app uses GPS technology to tell you exactly where your delivery is – a critical piece of information when dealing with a perishable material like concrete. You can track your delivery from order to pour and see past and future orders up to 14 days, allowing you to review the order for accuracy, effectively manage your resources and plan job sites accordingly.
We’re proud to offer this value-added service to you in an effort to continuously innovate and improve your experience, a part of our commitment to provide added value to every job, every time.

Electronic ticketing is the newest of Dufferin Concrete and ORM’s suite of paperless solutions that eliminates paper, lost delivery tickets, and ticket storage.
All ticket information is now available via the driver’s tablet. Customers can tap, click and type on the tablet screen to review ticket information, enter comments and sign for the load. Tickets are emailed directly to your job site and the back office as needed, improving the speed and accuracy of your invoicing process and eliminating the delay and hassle of paper tickets. With e-ticketing, all tickets are now available online via our Customer Portal only two days after concrete delivery.
As a hands-free option, e-ticketing also allows site representatives to scan the Ticket QR Code via the drivers tablet, to upload all ticket information on their own device. This method allows site personnel to review and verify ticket information on site prior to concrete placement. More information on ticket QR Codes can be found here.
To sign up for E-ticketing please contact your sales representative.

Construction projects and sites are becoming more complicated and congested than ever before. The size of projects, scope of work, aggressive construction schedules and number of subtrades working on a single site can put huge demands on Site Superintendents. To help our customers better manage their job sites, Ontario Redimix now offers site supervision in order to assist in concrete pours involving major volumes, high profile pours or pours involving complicated concrete specifications.
Enviroguard is a self-contained chute washout system that captures and recycles cleanup water following a concrete pour. Dufferin Concrete prides itself on being an industry leader and is committed to equip all our ready-mix trucks with this environmentally friendly system.
